Interview – Rebecca Lynn Howard

Have you ever found yourself revisiting a particular dream more than once?

My dream of music has been a lifelong pursuit on a daily basis. So I would say, yes.

In your opinion, what is an essential life experience that every individual should undergo at least once?

Falling in love. With someone or something. Love drives your passions and makes you alive.

What’s currently playing in your ears?

I listened to was Ray Charles’s Christmas album while I made dinner last night.

What is one book that changed your life?

The Holy Bible

If we’re treating, what beverage would you choose?

I’m a lightweight. I’ll have a sparkling water with a splash of cranberry and a twist of lime.

Share with us a significant dinner memory that stands out for you.

I always remember the Thanksgiving dinners we had growing up. So much food. The family was all together. Those were my favorite times.

Can you recount a challenging work experience that you consider to be the least enjoyable?

I don’t particularly love the “business” part of the music business. So, basically any part that isn’t music, is not my favorite.

Reflect on the day that brought you the most joy in your life.

The days my niece and nephew were born are definitely the happiest days of my life.

If you had the chance to jet off anywhere right now, where would your destination be?

I’d go back to Japan to visit the north country. The wilderness. I only got to spend time in the major cities. I would love to see the wild nature there.

Who holds the title of your favorite fictional hero?

Santa Claus is real!!!!

How would you like people to remember you?

I want them to remember me for my love towards people. In the end, that’s all that matters anyway.
